Vision and Values
Growing Together Through Learning, Friendship and Worship
“Keep your roots deep in Jesus and have your lives built on Him. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught. Always be thankful.” Col 2:7
The benefits of belonging to a small school are the strong feelings of loyalty, tolerance, and sensitivity that are developed, which create an extended family atmosphere. We place emphasis on confidence building, active participation and developing a strong sense of individual contribution to school life. We encourage children to develop lively and enquiring minds, to question and discuss rationally, and apply their knowledge to new situations.
From our Mission Statement, we draw the following values which are fundamental to our life in school:
By the end of their time at St Bartholomew’s School, we expect our children to be active and responsible contributors, capable of coping with challenging and changing situations.
